The Clark Blotter: Clark Resident Arrested for Burglary and Theft

Jan. 19, 10:42 a.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief at 76 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Keith Meehan was the investigating officer.

Jan. 19, 9:47 a.m. – In the vicinity of Willow Way and Lake Avenue, police arrested Edward Carter, age 38, single, unemployed of 330 Livingston Street in Westfield on outstanding warrants from Livingston, Newark, North Plainfield and the Union County Sheriff’s Department totaling $1,992 for contempt of court. Carter was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Jan. 18, 2:10 p.m. – In the vicinity of Victoria Drive, police arrested Ian O’Keeffe, age 23, single, unemployed of 1196 Cellar Avenue, Apt. #12 for burglary and theft. Bail was set at $100,000, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer. 

Jan. 17, 9:55 p.m. – In the vicinity of Malvern Drive, police arrested Drew Digiovanni, age 18, single, a student of 52 Grand Street for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Digiovanni was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Daniel Joy was the arresting officer.

Jan. 16, 5:09 p.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief at 196 Westfield Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Brian Renda was the investigating officer.
