The Clark Blotter: Clark PD Catch NY Robbery Fugitive

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from Jan. 30 - Feb. 6, 2012:

Feb. 4, 2:07 p.m. – In the vicinity of  Broadway and Joseph Street, police arrested Vanisha McMillan, age 38, single, unemployed of 602 South 18th Street in Newark for obstruction of justice, resisting arrest and numerous traffic violations with a total bail of $17,050. McMillan was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.  Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Feb. 3, 1:25 p.m. – In the vicinity of  Brant Avenue, police arrested Frederick Jones, age 60, single, unemployed of 460 Union Avenue in Irvington on an outstanding fugitive warrant for robbery from New York, New York. Jones was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail awaiting extradition to New York. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Feb. 2, 10:16 p.m. – In the vicinity of  60 Walnut Avenue, police arrested George Scott, age 37, single, a bail bonds agent of 190 Lewis Street, Apt. #221 in Rahway on outstanding warrants totaling $1,500 from East Orange and West Orange for contempt of court. Scott was subsequently released after posting bail. Kenneth Gaulette was the arresting officer.

Feb. 2, 6:56 a.m. – Police took a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence at 8 Gloria Street. The incident is under investigation. Steven Francisco was the investigating officer.

Feb. 1, 10:09 a.m. – In the vicinity of 82 Broadway, police arrested Barry Masker, age 35, single, an arborist of 169 Clinton Avenue in Newark for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) and CDS paraphernalia. Masker was subsequently released pending a court date. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.
