The Clark Blotter: Clark Man Arrested for Drug Possession

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from Feb. 25 - March 4, 2013:

Possession

March 1, 3:03 p.m. – At 16 Featherbed Lane, police arrested Frank Merowchek, age 35, single, a technician of 8 Cellar Avenue in Clark for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. George Marmarou was the arresting officer.

Feb. 26, 9:39 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Eladia Mercedes, age 25, single, unemployed of 15 School Road in Whitehouse Station for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) paraphernalia. She was also detained on outstanding warrants totaling $4,000 for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the Readington Police Department. Det. A. Manata was the investigating officer.

Feb. 26, 4:13 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Tina Ortiz, age 41, single, a cashier of 3B Garden Drive in Roselle for theft. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.
