The Blotter: Police Activity, Feb. 7 - 14

Clark Police nab a ShopRite thief who tried to flee.

Feb. 13, 8:44 p.m., Clark PD – In the vicinity of North Stiles Street in Linden, police arrested Thomas Will, age 46, married, unemployed of 57 Elmwood Terrace in Linden, for shoplifting merchandise from the ShopRite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. Will was also charged with eluding police and resisting arrest. He was subsequently turned over to the Linden Police Department on their active warrant. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.   

Feb. 10, 1:40 p.m., Clark PD – At 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Kemar Cameron, age 23, single, a baggage handler of 713 East 58th Street in Brooklyn, for credit card fraud. Cameron was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Brian Renda was the arresting officer.  

Feb. 10, 8:58 a.m., Clark PD – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 1190 Cellar Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Dan Pitts was the investigating officer.
