House Under Renovation Collapses, No Injuries Reported

The Clark Fire Department responded to ensure the site was safe and secure.

An unoccupied home under renovation on Blake Drive in Clark collapsed Friday night. The cause is unknown, according to fire officials.

Deputy Chief Robert Venturella of the Clark Fire Department said no one was in the home at the time of the collapse and no one was injured on or near the scene. Nearby homes were also unharmed.

"We don't know what the status of that construction was," Venturella said of the home at 15 Blake Drive. "All we did was we checked the surrounding area to see if any kids were in the area. The structure that was still intact, we made sure no one was in the building."
