Mayor advised on how to stay informed during the storm.

A Twitter link can be found on the police home page as well. Also information about hurricane preparedness can be found at www.redcross.org  and smart phone users may also download the American Red Cross Hurricane App.

Please remember that downed power lines should immediately be called in to the electric company or local police or fire dept. PSE&G at 1800-436-PSE&G; Garwood  PD or FD     908-789-1500"

In a conversation with Patch on Friday, Quattrocchi also advised anyone who needs evacuating to call the police department. "If we have to take someone to adjoining town will do that as well," Quattrocchi told Patch.
