Garwood Police Arrest Plainfield Man For DWI, Possession of Marijuana

Feb. 2, 9:54 p.m. – While on patrol, Officer Todd Herz conducted a motor vehicle stop which resulted in the driver, Anthony Jackson, 31, of Plainfield, being placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

Further investigation found that that Jackson was in possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and a passenger in the motor vehicle (Darryl Kennedy, 32, of Plainfield) was also charged with having an open container of alcohol.

Jackson and Kennedy were charged, processed and released with a court date.
