Faking It: Man Arrested for Fictitious Insurance Cards and Government ID

Clark police activity from March 7 - 14.

March 12, 4:25 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, police arrested Carolyn Williams, age 43, single, unemployed of 175 First Street, Apt. #7F in Newark for shoplifting at ShopRite. Williams was also detained on outstanding warrants totaling $2,650 from Newark for contempt of court and was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Brian Renda was the arresting officer.

March 12, 11:43 a.m. – At the Middlesex County Jail, police arrested Steven McPeek, age 29, single, unemployed of 458 Summer Avenue in Newark on outstanding warrants from Clark, Harding Twp., Kearny, Rahway and Rutherford totaling $4,005 for contempt of court. McPeek was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

March 12, 7:44 a.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at 89 John Street. The incident is under investigation. Keith Meehan was the investigating officer.

March 9, 6:23 p.m. – In the vicinity of 76 Central Avenue, police arrested Anthony Cadalzo, age 25, married, unemployed of 694 Campbell Avenue in Port Monmouth on an outstanding warrant from Middletown in the amount of $250 for contempt of court. He was also charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Det. Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.

March 9, 12:07 a.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Jeremiah Watts, age 28, single, unemployed of 373 Avon Avenue in Newark for false swearing, hindering apprehension, possession of fictitious insurance cards and possession of fictitious government identification. Watts was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

March 8, 9:29 p.m. – Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 140 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Christian Lott was the Investigating Officer.  

March 7, 5:28 p.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Milan Stojka, age 39, single, unemployed of 2049 West 10th Street in Brooklyn for hindering apprehension. Stojka was also issued summonses for motor several vehicle violations and subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Also arrested was Victoria Horvath, age 38, single, unemployed of 484 North 5th Street in Newark on outstanding warrants totaling $830 from Bloomfield and Newark. She was subsequently released after posting bail pending court dates. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.
