Schuyler Drive Car Blaze Extinguished by Clark Fire Department

A reader sends us these photos of the early-morning car fire outside of his home.

The Clark Fire Department extinguished a car fire on Schuyler Drive on Thursday morning. Reader Dan Czeh, sends us these photos and reports that he and his wife woke up at about 1:30 a.m. as the fire began.

"Someone was banging on our door," he writes. "We looked out and saw the fire, called 911 and police arrived and secured the scene. The fire department did a great job as they prevented the fire from extending to the wooden fence and from extending to the bush."

Czeh says the department was unsure of the cause of the fire but that the vehicle was not parked on leaves.
