BRIEF: Valley Road Construction To Begin With Road Closure
The work should take approximately three days, weather permitting.
A message on UC FirstAlert today warns of potential road closures as road construction continues onto Valley Road in Clark.
The alert states:
"Now that construction work is practically complete on Brant Avenue, the next area of construction will be on Valley Road from the GSP to Walnut Ave./Broadway which should begin within the next day or so. It is anticipated that the work will take approximately 3 days to complete, weather permitting. Again due to the nature of the work, Full Road Closure will be necessary to optimize the safety of the work crews and motoring public. The roadway will be closed from approximately 6 a.m. until 5 p.m each day.
A clearly marked detour route will be established and maintained by County forces. Emergency vehicles will allowed through at all times and access to residences/businesses. including deliveries and other services, will be allowed as much as possible.
