Westfield Ave American Flags

Westfield Ave American Flags are still flying....they are filthy and torn and should be taken down as I stated in my last speak out post.....I contacted the DPW this morning and told them of the condition of the Flags and was told tha they will be removed after Veterans Day which is November 11.....WHAT? ...the town is going to HONOR our Veterans by leaving filthy, ripped flags flying over our streets....DISGRACEFUL, This is after the Mayor was complaining that our town was starting to look dirty and ratty.....practice what you preach.....of ALL things that should be respected in this town the FLAG IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.....get it together HONOR THE FLAG and our VETERANS TODAY....REPLACE THE FLAGS NOW
