American Flags

Mayor Sal and his council were complaining about how Clark residents and buisnesses should clean up there properties to make the town look better, apparently Mayor Sal has not looked up at the American Flags hanging from poles up and down westfield ave that were installed by the town , all most every one of them are filthy, torn and wrapped around the poles. It is disgraceful and should be addressed right away.
Is this any way to honor our country or our troops. I thought Clark was supposed to be an "All American Town". If the flags cannot not be taken care of properly and respectfully then they should not be hung up in the first place. The United States flag should be looked at with dignity and respect. The Mayor is in Quik Chek everyday for his coffe and snacks.....does he ever look up at the flags....GET THE FLAGS REPLACED OR REMOVED.....this is not only for the town but also for residents who have tattered flags on there homes.........Remember what the flag means and how many have died fighting for it...so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we have..........Freedom is not free......America is free because of the brave and our beloved flag
