Clark's Holiday House Decorating Contest Makes Channel 2 News
Check out this year's winners for most traditional, most outrageous and overall favorite.
Clark Recreation presented the winners of the town's annual Holiday House Decorating Contest on Dec. 23. To present the awards this year, Rec Director Ralph Bernardo was joined by the Mayor Sal Bonaccorso, his son Joey and committee member Fran Parisi.
The winners were:
27 Emerson Road – The Serratelli family for Overall Favorite.
63 King Street – The Calo family for Most Outrageous.
2011 Boynton Avenue - The Rendeiro family for Most Traditional.

Each family was received a $50 gift certificate to Ace Hardware, a lawn sign and, of course, bragging rights for the win.
"As an added bonus this year, Channel 2 News received wind of the event and surprised everyone as they came out to NJ and assisted with the surprise moment," said Bernardo.

Newscaster Dave Carlin interviewed the families, Mayor Bonaccorso and Bernardo. Ten seconds of fame appeared on the 11 o’clock news on Channel 2. This is the 7th year that Clark Recreation sponsored the event.
