Middle School Field Hockey Players 'Pink Out' for Breast Cancer Awareness

The girls also sold loom bracelets to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

The Kumpf and Garwood Middle School Field Hockey players participated on Oct. 15 in a “Pink Out” game to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The girls spiced up their uniforms with pink socks, shoelaces, ribbons, headbands, and pink eye black.

In addition to the “Pink Out” game the girls raised $100 for the American Cancer Society. Organized by Serafina Perrotto and Ally Renda, the players made pink loom bracelets to sell during the Varsity Pink Out game and their own Pink Out game. Spectators generously supported the girls with their donations.  The donation will be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of the Kumpf and Garwood Middle School Field Hockey Teams.
