Clark Rec Director Honored for Service to Families

Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo along with nine other Union County residents were honored on Oct. 24 at the new Galloping Hill Golf Course Banquet Facility for “An Evening of Thanks,” receiving the first ever Union County Family Service Awards from Home First Housing and Family Services.

Bernardo was honored for his volunteer work as President of Clark UNICO and the many classes, programs and events he organizes as the Director of Recreation for the Clark Township. As Director, he is known for his hands on approach and tireless commitment to the town and its residents. Last year the Clark UNICO Chapter gave back more than $30,000 to local community and scholarship funds.

Assemblyman Jon Bramnick and Freeholder Alex Mirabella were the Masters of Ceremony. More than 300 people were in attendance including the Mayors from each locality.
