ALJ Grads Reunite at Senorita's

The all-class reunion packed the restaurant with Johnson alums.

On the day after Thanksgiving, Arthur L. Johnson alumni gave thanks for live music, food, dancing, drinks and a chance to catch up at all-class reunion. From college kids back home to the not-quite-so-recent grads, alums flocked to the neighborhood fave and danced the night away to music from Springsteen cover band Tramps Like Us.

Here, our photos from the night.

I contacted Mike Nudo jr. several weeks in advance with concerns of reports of last years "All Class Reunion." I wasn't at last years event, but here's what I heard. "Too Loud!" over and over again. I was assured by Mike that they were sensitive to the complaints, but had made "Great Changes" to the set-up to allow conversation. 'We moved a Wall!, We're gonna have the tent with the Band outside! We "Value" (operative word) you opinions! We care about our Alumni! (BS)and want you to keep coming back! "I was a graduate of ALJ" !! So what happens? The quietest available place on the whole premises was the dining room. But, there was an extra charge of $10 bucks to be able to "talk" (still loud) in there, with a "Guard" at the door checking bracelets! ( to make sure no quiet people could sneak in) What part of the word "Reunion" don't you understand? Most people want to talk, usually about how proud they are to have grown up in a great town like Clark! Mike took our money and blew us out. And it worked! Shame on him, but never again. "Adio's" Losers! ALL ALJ ALUMN (except you pinhead) DESERVE BETTER. Go Crusaders!

ALJ is and always was a fine and outstanding school, with a proud tradition. But if you're going to base you children's future education on comments made over the Alumni's meeting places for reunions, feel free to enroll them somewhere else. What's petty is that you even posted into this debate.

A troll ! Figures they would try and discredit you! What sneaky lowlifes! I expected better from this "News" website, but after the previous attacks, I see the "quality" of their respondents. Adio's.

Don't worry we are in the process of securing a NEW location to continue our All Class A.L.J. reunion for next year. It will be a place with music (loud enough to hear but soft enough for CONVERSATION. We have had a fantastic response to moving the location. The loud raucous rude people from the last one can stay at Senoiritas, the rest of us will be in another location. When we started this back in 2007 it was great. When it was Lana's the first three reunions were awesome, the last two years since the Nudo's have taken over it's been HORRIBLE. He promised it would be a place we could converse and reconnect, he makes a small fortune on us, but continues to support the young crowd that are more interested in getting drunk than a reunion. I can't blame M. Nudo since it's where his bread is buttered the other 364 days of the year, however, when he made us a promise he should have stuck to it. I hear the Cranford residents are complaining about the loud obnoxious youth and loud music coming from there too. It's only a matter of time, so stay tuned we will be announcing a new location in the coming month.
