New Jersey Recognizes Children's Grief

New Jersey State Legislature passed a proclomation declaring every Thursday before Thanksgiving as Children's Grief Awareness Day .

The Alcove in Northfield, the Common Ground Grief Center in Manasquan, and Good Grief in Morristown are raising awareness through legislation! The three centers collaborated and contacted their legislators and Governor Chris Christie requesting support for bereaved children.

We are thrilled that the New Jersey State Legislature passed a proclomation declaring every Thursday before Thanksgiving as Children's Grief Awareness Day . We look forward to sharing all the ways in which these centers will be working together to raise awareness throughout New Jersey. Last year alone, Good Grief reached more than 10,000 children through our educational workshops. We look forward to reaching many more as a result of this proclomation and the awareness it will raise.

Over the next few months we'll be sharing ways you can help us raise awareness this year on November 15th, New Jersey's Children's Grief Awareness Day!
