Pam Purvis & The Blue Skies Band - The Salem Roadhouse Café

The Salem Roadhouse Café proudly presents Pam Purvis & The Blue Skies Band.  Pam and husband Bob Ackerman, along with a fine group of backup musicians have been at the Roadhouse many times, presenting their brand of great jazz and jazz vocals.  Pam promises an exciting special guest at this show.  Pam’s lush vocals, along with her fine keyboarding, are complimented with the intricate and precise horn work by Bob Ackerman.

Rounding out the mix, Pam and Bob always have some of the finest names in jazz to provide the backup to their musical excellence.  Admission to the Roadhouse is $15.00 with a discount admission price of $10.00 for students.  Proceeds for all 2012 shows will benefit the Eastern Union County YWCA’s Domestic Violence Programs.  Original art work always graces the walls of the Roadhouse Fine Arts Gallery.  Located at 829 Salem Road in Union, NJ, the doors will open at 7:30 pm with the show starting at 8 pm.

Admission includes hot and cold snacks, assorted beverages, three blends of gourmet coffees , teas, and desserts.  The Salem Roadhouse Café has gained notoriety among many of the finest musicians as a serious venue known for its intimate club-like atmosphere, excellent sound, stage lighting and great seating.  Performers are right in front of the audience, and are available for meeting during the show break.  Union Comcast channel TV34 records every show for its “UNION AFTER DARK” music TV series.
