Old Fashioned Afternoon Tea in Clark

Tea anyone?  Get ready for an old-fashioned afternoon tea sponsored by the Cranford Church Women United. The tea will raise funds for local charities.

The tea will take place on Friday, May 6 from two to four pm at the Osceola Presbyterian Church, 1089 Raritan Road, Clark. This revival of the traditional afternoon tea will feature teas from around the world. Old-fashioned “sweets” will be served, including scones, assorted sandwiches and a variety of homemade cakes and cookies. Piano music will entertain and accompany the tea service.

In addition, the event will feature door prizes. Tickets are available at $8.00 from Church Women United members or at the door. Lillie Brown, President of CWU, extends an invitation to tea fanciers to share this special event with friends and neighbors in the area.
