Join the American Cancer Society at a Relay for Life of Clark New Jersey

Join the fight against cancer and the movement to create a world with more birthdays by participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on June 8 & 9, 2012 at Arthur L. Johnson football field, 365 Westfield Avenue Clark, N.J. from 6 pm until 6 am, next day.

This inspiring overnight event unites the entire community in celebrating those who have had cancer, remembering loved ones lost and providing an opportunity to fight back against the disease.  Relay for Life is an overnight celebration where individuals and teams camp out, picnic, dance, play games and take turns circling a track “relay” style.  The event begins as cancer survivors walk in a “survivor lap” around the track to celebrate victory over cancer.  Later as the sun sets, participants light hundreds of luminaria candles to pay tribute to those lost to the disease.  Relay for Life supports the society’s mission to save lives by helping people get well, stay well, find cures and fight back.  To register, volunteer or for additional information visit RelayForLife.org/ClarkNJ or call 1-800-227-2345

Together we CAN make a difference!
