Clark Library Celebrates National Library Week

The Clark Public Library will celebrate National Library Week by offering two behind the scenes tours of the library on Tuesday, April 10th at 5:30 pm and again on Thursday, April 12th at 11:00 am.  Library Director, Patty Anderson, will show patrons what goes on behind the front desk and how new books make their way to the shelves.  Come see the library’s state-of-the-art computer lab and sign up for a free library program.  “I look forward to sharing the amazing resources the library offers. Whether you are a job seeker looking for materials to land a new job, a parent looking for free activities for children or a student searching for your next favorite book, the library has what you are looking for ,” commented Anderson.

During National Library Week, the library is hosting a variety of free programs for all ages.  Children’s programs include the Lego Club on Tuesday, April 10th at 7:00 pm, a library scavenger hunt on Wednesday, April 11th at 2:30 pm and Let’s Bloom Together on Friday, April 13th at 10:00 am.  Teens may attend a flower pot decoupage program on Thursday, April 12th at 3:30 pm.  The week will wrap up with Hollywood Musicals featuring Skip Ungar, pianist and music historian on Sunday, April 15th at 2:00 pm.

Registration is required for all programs. Please register at our online calendar at www.clarklibrary.org, call 732 388 5999 or stop by the library.
