JAZZ IT UP @ JOHNNY K's Concert & Dining Experience with the THOMAS KIRCHMER QUINTET

The popular monthly Jazz It Up series has found a new home at the new and elegant Johnny K's Restaurant in Clark, NJ (formerly the Windsor Diner). The JAZZ IT UP @ JOHNNY K's Concert & Dining Experience continues to bring to music lovers a unique evening of delicious dining and the best of jazz in concert. This inaugural event at this comfortable venue presents direct from NYC The Thomas Kirchmer Silveresque Quintet in concert.
Tom Kirchmer's "Silveresque" is a trumpet - tenor jazz quintet in the Hard Bop tradition.  It's a walk down the avenue of bluesy swing with a side trip to funky soul.  The unique NYC based quintet features outstanding soloists with a refined pedigree.
Jerry Weldon on tenor saxophone has performed with Lionel Hampton, Jack McDuff and Harry Connick. Greg Bobulinski on trumpet has appeared with Clark Terry, Phil Woods and Jimmy Heath. Pianist Steve Ash also performs with Frank Wess, Eddie Harris and Warren Vache. Drummer Ron Zito has performed with Woody Herman, Toots Thielmans and Astrud Gilberto. Tom Kirchmer on bass performs with Edmar Casteneda, Nancy Wilson, KenPeplowski and other acclaimed musicians.
Silveresque concert performances always deliver a satisfying music journey for jazz aficionados and this inaugural appearance at Jazz it Up @ Johnny K's promises not to disappoint.
