In Garwood, three candidates will battle for two seats on council.

Ready for Tuesday's election? In Garwood, three candidates will battle for two council seats. Clark does not have any local elections this year. 

Garwood Council Candidates
The three candidates in Garwood include:

- Incumbent Jim Mathieu (Conservative Republican)

- 2012 Candidate Mike Martin (Regular Garwood GOP)

- Write-in candidate Bruce Paterson (registered Democrat, running as an Independent)

Board of Education
In both towns, races for three seats on each Board of Education are uncontested this year. In Garwood, only two candidates (current members Brendan McDermott and Susan Groning) filed for three available seats. In Clark, current BOE members Thomas Lewis, Lorraine J. Aklonis and Sheri Sandler are on the ballot for three available seats.
