Many 'Happy' Returns: Post-Christmas Shopping Plans?

Before you head out to the store to replace it, tell us about the Christmas- present debacle of 2011 that you must rectify immediately!

It might be the season to be jolly, but this is the day to return the folly.

Got a present you wouldn't consider regifting? Can't believe he/she still gets the the size or color wrong? Maybe even Santa made a mistake this year (hey, he does have billions of deliveries to make).

Local merchants and big-box stores all over Union County will be open early for this day of returning. You also will be able to take advantage of some after-Christmas bargain shopping in your favorites shops.

The Target in Clark, as well as other branches throughout Union County, will be opening their doors at 8 a.m. and featuring big discounts for bargain-hunters or those looking for something, anything, that is an upgrade to the present they unwrapped on Christmas.

, on Central Avenue, also is opening early to meet the rush of post-Christmas shoppers. For anyone willing to brave Route 22, the other big-box stores, from Best Buy to Sports Authority, will be open early to handle the post-holiday rush. In any case, retailers also are providing deals for online shoppers who would prefer to stay at home with family and warm up to the glow of the flickering computer screen.

But wait, before you go, tell us (or send photos) of presents that didn't make the grade. And while you're in the middle of your shopping spree, let us know where the deals are.

Don't we already have one in the county at Echo Lake? Maybe If needed, maybe Middlesex CountyRead More should pay for it.
