Clark Little League Baseball 2014 Opening Day
Little League baseball seems like the beginning of spring most years. This year is no different. After a rough winter, Little League baseball and spring are finally here. The official crack of the bats will begin on Saturday April 5th. The Clark Little League and Clark Girls Softball annual Opening Day Parade will kick off the seasons for both organizations with a parade right through the heart of town and the Fire Engines will lead the boys and girls to their opening day ceremonies. The gathering of 300 excited enthusiastic children makes for a special event. To keep up the tradition, the Girls will start at Denman and the Boys will start at ALJ and follow them up Westfield Avenue. After the opening ceremonies, a full day of baseball will follow at both complexes. Come on out and cheer the boys and girls on. Usually with the parade comes the good weather so let’s hope great day for baseball Saturday.
2013 was a wonderful year for Clark little league and was capped off with Clark winning a NJ District 10 Championship in two out of the three age groups. The baseball starts Saturday and runs through the end of July.
