Annual Halloween Picnic

Witches, princesses, mermaids, ninjas, pirates and a host of characters were seen on Sunday, October 27, as the Christopher Academy Parent Association held their annual Halloween Picnic for students and their families at the school’s beautiful Scotch Plains location.  The campus was filled with happy, smiling faces and sounds of laughter as children joined in the hula hoop and limbo contests and danced to the lively music provided by the DJ.  There were pumpkins for decorating, balloon animals, and a Bouncy House for all-around fun and good times.

The Christopher Academy Parent Association (CAPA) is an active organization of dedicated parent representatives and parent volunteers who provide fund-raising events for the school as well as parent socials and outreach service projects.    CAPA sponsors educational programs for the students and field day events at the end of the school term.   The parent association is open to all families who have children enrolled at either of our campuses.

Christopher Academy, established in 1963, maintains premier status as the first Montessori school in New Jersey.   We are accredited by the American Montessori Society.
