Roselle Savings Bank's 125th Anniversary Recognized With Official Borough Proclamation

Roselle Savings Bank was presented with an official borough proclamation recognizing its 125th anniversary during an Employee Appreciation Reception on March 18th at the bank’s headquarters location.  Roselle Mayor Jamel C. Holley proudly presented the document to bank officials.  In addition to the recent employee occasion, Roselle Savings Bank will be inviting residents of the local community to join them in celebrating their 125th anniversary during various family-oriented events throughout the month of June at the Roselle, Bernardsville and High Bridge branches.

“We are the same bank we’ve always been when it comes to our customers.  We serve individuals and families, and we’ve always stayed true to our roots,” stated Jill G. Schafhauser, Roselle Savings Bank President/CEO.  In addition, Mayor Holley recalled a childhood memory of the bank, stating, “This bank played a special role in my life.  My brothers and I started Christmas clubs here.  It was the only money I had to buy Christmas presents.  I admire this bank for instilling a sense of saving at such a young age.”  Pictured above displaying the official proclamation are (l to r) Bill Fredericks (Roselle Savings Bank Chairman of the Board), Jill Schafhauser and Mayor Holley.
