Congratulations to Garwood's &Grain, which was named one the 25 best breakfast spots in North Jersey by New Jersey Monthly magazine.

The write-up starts with &Grain's Stumptown coffee, which owner John Ropelski's now offers cold-brewed, kegged and drawn from a tap.

"Trained as a baker, [Ropelski] produces fresh Danish, croissants and crusty breads like the popular apple baguette sandwich," says the description. "The best seller, a baked egg and cheese sandwich on ciabatta, is moist, fluffy and big enough for two ($4.75)."

The magazine also highlights &Grain's quiche, steel-cut oatmeal and fresh-fruit parfaits.
