Garwood Lions Club Annual Senior Citizens' Picnic

The Garwood Lions Club invites all Garwood senior citizens to atend the annual Lions Club Senior Citizen Picnic on Saturday, September 10 at noon at the Garwood Knights of Columbus Hall located on South Avenue near the foot of Willow Avenue.

The menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, clam chowder, beer on tap, soda and dessert. Serving begins at noon. Event will take place rain or shine. Music will be provided for dancing. Admission is free to all seniors.

Though the Lions are known best for recycling eyeglasses, this international service organization also sponsors Garwood's Halloween Parade and many youth activities. To learn more about Lionism, call Peggy Briggs at 908-654-4977.
