'Timeline New Jersey,' a 350-Year Retrospective Comes to Garwood Library

Noted New Jersey author/photographer Walter Choroszewski will present the audio-visual program.

This release was submitted by the Garwood Library. 

On Wednesday, January 15th at 7:00 PM, noted New Jersey author/photographer Walter Choroszewski will present a colorful audio-visual program at the Garwood Library entitled “Timeline New Jersey” looking back at the State from 350 years ago to today.  Travel along a timeline from the primeval dawn of the Highlands through the Ice Age up to the present.  Mr. Choroszewski will introduce New Jersey’s first people and early explorers, as well as take the audience through the Colonial and Revolutionary history of the State.

This program is free to all participants but registration is required.  You may register in person at the Library, by phone 908-789-1670, or at the Library’s interactive calendar found on its website of youseemore.com/garwood.

The Garwood Library is located at the corner of Walnut Street and Third Avenue, behind the Lincoln School complex.  Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
