June Primary Elections Today

Five things you need to know today, Tuesday, June 7.

  1.  take place today in Clark and Garwood between the hours of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at voters’ usual polling locations.  Sample ballots for this election were mailed to voters in May.
  2. Graduating ALJ High School seniors who will be receiving college scholarships and grants are invited to ALJ's annual tonight at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Families and friends are also welcome to attend to find out who has earned each coveted award. 
  3. Clark Pop Warner will hold two final registration nights, tonight and tomorrow night, for anyone interested in participating in the fall 2011 football and cheerleading Pop Warner season. To register, come to the Clark Pop Warner Clubhouse located at 9 Reifel Street from 6 to 8 p.m. 
  4. The will take place tonight in the 2nd floor board room from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.  Board meetings are open to the public. Stop by to see what’s happening at your local library.
  5. Tonight is the first night of Union County’s two night “” lecture series being held at the Rutger’s Cooperative Extension offices in Westfield.  For information call 908-654-9854.
