“Churchill and Others“ - The Skulski Art Gallery - Polish Cultural Foundation

The Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark, NJ is pleased to present paintings and prints at exhibit titled “Churchill and Others“ by Polish artist Edmund Korzeniewski, from December 9, 2011 through January 31, 2012.

Edmund Korzeniewski was born in Poland, graduated from Academy of Physical Education.  Art was always his passion, shortly after his arrival to the United States he decided to improve his talent by attending Parsons School of Design, The New School, Manhattan Graphics Center, The Lower East Side Print Shop and the Cooper
Union College.

He has exhibited his work in almost 100 individual and collective shows; in the United States, Poland, India, England, France, Hungary and Ukraine.  Edmund has received numerous prestigious awards and honors; 1996 Award of Excellence in the Fifth Annual Art Competition Manhattan Arts International.  In 1997 Award of Excellence in the Sixth Art Competition Manhattan Art International, in 1998, Award of Merit for Outstanding Artistic Achievement in Manhattan Arts International.  In the same year, in the Seventh Annual Competition received Award for Outstanding Achievement in Art.

His art can be found in the Polish Academy of Science (PAN) Poland, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, Manhattan Graphics Center and many private collections in the United States, Australia, Germany, Canada and Poland.  The Polish Cultural Foundation, a non-profit organization is located at 177 Broadway, Clark, New Jersey, just of exit 135 GSP.  Skulski Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday 5:00pm – 9:00pm, or by appointment contact Karolina Szczepanska, Exhibit Coordinator at 732-382-7197.  To enquire about exhibits please contact Aleksandra K.
