Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today with these television specials.

2 p.m. - The History Channel and host Tom Brokaw take viewers through the life and times of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in "King".

4 p.m. - The OWN network runs the Oprah Winfrey Show's “The Dream Lives: A Martin Luther King Day Special" (2008). Oprah honors the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington.

5 p.m. - The OWN network reruns last year's "Oprah Show" special on race, "Race in America: A 25-Year Look Back," in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

6 p.m. - Centric TV will air "King," a 1978 TV mini-series that tells the story of King's days as a Baptist minister until his 1968 assassination.

9 p.m. - The Gospel Music Channel runs HBO Films' "Boycott" (2001), a docudrama about Dr. King, Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
