A Les Paul Celebration at the Crossroads in Garwood

Five things you need to know today, Tuesday, May 24.

  1. Lou Pallo and friends pull up in the decked-out Gibson bus tonight to hang at Pallo, an encyclopedia of jazz and Les Paul’s wingman of 30 years, celebrates his new signature model Gibson guitar. All are welcome to tour the Gibson bus and check out rough mixes of Lou’s upcoming tribute to Les Paul titled “Thank You Les.”
  2. Bistro 1051 in Clark is helping Jason’s Friends Foundation tonight with a . Bring a copy of the Jason’s Friends Flier to Bistro 1051, enjoy a meal between 4 and 10 p.m., and Bistro 1051 will donate 10 percent of your bill to Jason’s Friends Foundation. 
  3. Garwood residents, tonight at 7 p.m. the public session of the begins in Council Chambers. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
  4. Tweens and teens in Clark, register today for tomorrow’s “” craft at the Clark Library tomorrow after school at 3 p.m. All supplies will be provided and snacks will be served.  This free craft program is open to children in grades 6 through 12.  Participants must register in advance as space is limited.
  5. The Clark Board of Education will convene tonight at 7 p.m. for a in the ALJ Media Center at 7 p.m.
