'My Fair Lady' Etiquette Program Now Offered Through Clark Rec

A program for girls ages 9 to 14, My Fair Lady Program of eight 90-minute classes that feature a new topic each week.

This release was received from the My Fair Lady program.

The adolescent years are a fun, carefree time in every girl’s life. A time of many changes, it can also put a girl’s self-esteem to the test. They question, “If I’m not a kid anymore, but I’m not an adult yet, how do I fit in?” What if there was a program available that would help bridge this bittersweet gap between child and adulthood? There is now. The My Fair Lady Teen Image and Etiquette Program offers a positive, fun solution to the teen years.

A unique and empowering program for girls ages 9 to 14, The My Fair Lady Program consists of 8, 90 minute classes that feature a new topic each week. The program covers topics including: skin care, makeup, diet and fitness, social and dining etiquette, assertive communication, wardrobe coordination, leadership skills and stress relief. The My Fair Lady program teaches self-acceptance and encourages girls to be themselves and to think independently.

Currently, the program is running at the Brewer Recreation Center, 430 Westfield Ave. Clark, NJ. The program will run again for the Spring 2013 session at the aforementioned address, please contact Clark Recreation at 732-428-8400.
