Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso said he thought this year's Clark Fourth of July fireworks were just "OK" in his comments at a recent council meeting.
"I thought the finale lacked something," Bonaccorso said. "We had some problems and changed to a different company. Some people were telling me they were the best they ever saw and others said they've seen better."
Bonaccorso also noted that each year nearly 10,000 people come from Clark and surrounding towns to see the fireworks show and that "not one thing goes awry." The mayor thanked all that put on the show for always making it a fun and safe event, especially the Clark DPW, police, fire department and first aid squad.
