Horizon NJ Health to Promote ‘Dancing for Your Health,' Free Health Screenings at Red Ribbon Day

HNJH staff will encourage and instruct event goers to join them in such popular line dances like the Cha-Cha slide and Cupid Shuffle, among others.

Dancing with Your Health is a nationally recognized program established by Horizon NJ Health (HNJH) that encourages people of all ages to use dance as an easy, fun and no-cost form of exercise.

HNJH staff will encourage and instruct event goers to join them in such popular line dances like the Cha-Cha slide and Cupid Shuffle, among others.

In addition to Dancing for Your Health, HNJH’s lovable canine mascot (NJ) will be on site sharing his health messages stressing the importance of physical activity, proper nutrition and healthy body weight.

Horizon NJ Health nurses will be on location educating people on the importance of knowing their numbers (blood pressure and glucose)…free blood pressure and glucose screenings will be available for all adults.
