Westfield Community Band Concert Series at Mindowaskin Park

The Westfield Community Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Thomas Connors, continues it’s 99th season of summer concerts in Mindowaskin Park Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

One of the oldest community bands in the country, the Westfield Community Band will perform an array of original works this summer. These include orchestral transcriptions, popular works, songs of the American Musical Theater, along with Marches from around the world.

The Westfield Community Band will conclude its summer concert series on Thursday, July 14.  Concerts are held in Mindowaskin Park, located next to the Westfield Municipal Building at 425 East Broad St. in Westfield. The event is free to the public; audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Westfield Community Room in the Westfield Municipal Building.
