Dense Fog Advisory Issued for Monday Commute

Visibility could be less than one quarter of a mile.

The start of a new work week could mean a hazardous commute on the roadways according to the National Weather Service.

A dense fog advisory has been issued for parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday morning. The fog had already started to roll into parts of our area on Sunday night and was expected to lift heading later into Monday.

Visibility is expected to be less than one quarter of a mile at the deepest times of the fog, which is expected to to last into Monday morning.

Drivers are reminded to allow plenty of space between cars on the road when driving through the fog, use low beam headlights and drive slowly when the conditions warrant.
