10 Union County Municipalities Receiving Grants For 'Click It Or Ticket' Campaign

Several Union County municipalities received a $4,000 grant to participate in the nationwide "Click it or Ticket" campaign which began on Monday and will continue until June 1.

The campaign aims to get drivers and their passengers to buckle up in both the front and back seats of their vehicles by a encouraging a two week zero-tolerance policy among participating police departments nationwide. Currently, New Jersey's seatbelt rate stands at 91 percent. 

Below is a list of participating Union County police departments: 

- Berkley Heights PD
- Cranford PD
- Fanwood PD
- Kenilworth PD
- Linden PD
- Plainfield PD
- Roselle Borough PD
- Roselle Park PD
- Union Township PD
- Westfield PD
