It’s career month at the Garwood Family Center Y and the four-year old full day early learning participants in the Marvelous Monkeys preschool class enjoyed learning about fire safety when the Garwood Fire Department came to visit them. The children listened attentively while learning what a fireman does and then had question and answer time.
The Garwood Family Center Y located at 500 East Street in Garwood offers full and half day child care education (ages 2½ -5 years), school age complement (K-5th grade), Flexible Care Drop-In (ages 2½ -5th grade), Vacation Day and Inclement Weather Plan and is currently accepting registration for the 2014-2015 school year. Programs are led by experienced and caring staff. Parent involvement is encouraged.
