Westfield Area Y Camp Open House on May 8th

The Westfield Area Y is gearing up for another summer of fun, skill-building summer camps.  The Y is a safe, thriving environment for campers to try new activities, be creative and make lasting friendships.  All Westfield-based camps are American Camping Association (ACA) accredited.  The ACA is the only organization that accredits all types of camps and applies nearly 300 national standards for health and safety.

Mark your calendars for a Camp Open House scheduled on May 8th from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Robert and Virginia Bauer Branch, 422 East Broad Street in Westfield.  Participants will be entered into a drawing to win a free week of traditional camp.  Arts and craft activities, games and refreshments will be available.  Members of the summer camp staff will answer any questions you may have.

Camps are available in Westfield, Mountainside and at the new Garwood Family Center Y.  Whether it’s a traditional camp filled with sports, swimming, games and crafts, or a specialty camp like cooking or dance, the Westfield Area Y has a camp that’s right for you.
