Four Centuries Weekend at Dr. Robinson Museum, Lincoln School Clothing Drive

What's happening today in Clark and Garwood.

Four centuries weekend at Dr. Robinson plantation: Clark's historic site is just one of many stops in the county's annual Four Centuries weekend, Oct. 19 and 20. The weekend will feature President and Mrs. Lincoln, Civil War soldiers, hearth cooking and more.

Donate to the Lincoln School clothing drive: 
On Saturday, the Lincoln School in Garwood will be collecting wearable clothing and household linens. Other items accepted will be shoes, backpacks, handbags, belts, stuffed animals and all hard toys no larger than two-feet-by-two-feet. Lin's Linens cancer charity fundraiser: 
Lin's Linens, which performs room makeovers for cancer patients, is hosting "Let's Scare the Hell Out of Cancer" - a Halloween themed fundraiser at the Cranford Elk's Lodge from 7 to 11 p.m. Food, cash bar, DJ, dancing and more. 

Halloween family storytime at the Clark Library: On Saturday at 10 a.m., put on your Halloween costume and come to the library for storytime. This program is for children ages 2 through 5 years old. No registration is required.

Adopt a new pet at Parker Gardens: 
Summit Animal Rescue Association will hold the organization's 4th Annual Pet Adoption Fair on Saturday and Sunday at Parker Gardens in Scotch Plains. The event is open to the general public. There will be a number of cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and guinea pigs (Sat only) for adoption. Plus, check out the schedule of events.
