Flu Shots for Garwood Residents, Best Foreign Film Nominee Screening

What's happening today in Clark and Garwood.

Flu shots for Garwood residents: The Westfield Regional Health Department (which serves Garwood) will give out free flu shots at the New Providence Senior Citizen Center from 10 a.m. to noon. 

Catch a free flick at the library: 
The Clark Library's "Totally New Tuesdays" features the latest releases at 6:30 p.m. in the Ayers room. This week: "Kon-Tiki (Rated PG-13). Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl crossed the Pacific Ocean on a balsa wood raft in 1947 in an effort to prove it was possible for South Americans to settle in Polynesian in pre-Columbian times. After gathering financing for the trip, he sets off on an epic 101-day-long journey across eight thousand kilometers, all while the world is watching. Nominated for 2013 Best Foreign Film Academy Award. "

Network with the GWACC: 
The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a networking breakfast at the Scotch Plains JCC at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The event is free and open to all current and prospective members. 

HSPA testing: ALJ seniors will take the High School Profiency Assessment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
