Cub Scout Open Registration Tonight

What's happening today in Clark and Garwood.

Learn about the Cub Scouts: Cub Scout Pack 145 of Clark will host its annual open registration at the Clark Recreation Center cafeteria, (former Brewer Building), located at 430 Westfield Ave, Clark. Between the hours of 7 - 9 p.m. Leaders and committee members will be present to answer any questions you may have about scouting.

Westfield Avenue closed:
Road work began Monday and will last for approximately 10 days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Westfield Avenue from Brant Avenue in Clark to Grand Street in Rahway. Police advise to please avoid the area and find an alternate route.

Storytime back in Garwood: Toddler storytime returns to the Garwood Library today at 10:30 a.m. Bring your toddlers, up to age 4 for stories, games, seasonal crafts, movement and fun.

Catch a free flick in Clark: This week's Wednesday Afternoon Movie at the Clark Library is "42" (rated PG-13) at 1 p.m. in the Ayers room. "42" tells the story of when history was made in 1947, when Jackie Robinson broke the professional baseball race barrier to become the first African American MLB player of the modern era. 

Party on a Wednesday: Wednesday nights mean karaoke and "defeat the clock" at Molly Maguires.
