First football game: ALJ football will play their first game of the season tonight at home against North Plainfield.

Sing the blues at Hyatt Hills: The 7 p.m. concert features Grammy-nominated "Bluesman" Rob Paparozzi, former front-man and vocalist of "Blood Sweat & Tears" and member of the original "Blues Brothers Band," plus his special guests.

Laugh in Garwood: Crossroads' Comedy Jam begins at 7:30 p.m. and features Geoff Keiser and Sue Remus.
