association with the new comfortable and elegant Johnny K's Restaurant (formerly the Windsor Diner) management presents the popular and unique monthly BLUES @ JOHNNY K 's Concert and Dining Experience. Come celebrate the best of life with live music in concert by acclaimed blues music artists as they bring to you a listening experience that promises to captivate on the second Thursday
of each month at this special venue. The concert experience includes a choice of delicious dinner entree, dessert and a beverage. Additional bar service is available. The concert on Thursday, Jan 10, 2013 at 7pm features an in demand
performance by the BLUE SOUL music ensemble.           Blue Soul is a unique hybrid Blues based band, fusing elements of Chicago, Memphis, and New Orleans blues styles with vintage Soul and R&B.                                 The core of Blue Soul consists of bassist/musical director Bailey Gee, dynamic lead vocalist Herb Woodson, and guitar stylist Mitch Eisenberg.                                     Band leader Bailey Gee has long been associated with 'The Hudson River Rats ' and played on Rob Paparozzi's Grammy-nominated 'Etruscan Soul' CD.                                         Blue Soul is fronted by vocalist Herb Woodson, formerly lead singer with the popular NJ based R&B bands 'Home Fries' and 'Press J5'.                                                                      Guitarist Mitch Eisenberg's creative playing taps into a wide range of stylistic influences, and is an important element in Blue Soul's sound. Mitch has previously performed with R&B vocal great Barbara Harris of 'The Toys' and jazz violinist Yuri Turchyn.                                                   
The band also features drummer Frank Pagano, of Steely Dan guitarist Jon Herrington's Band fame and keyboardist extraordinaire Ted Brancato, widely known for his recorded and live work with the great jazz vocalist Jeannie
Bryson. Blue Soul has just celebrated its four year anniversary, and in that time has had over 250 live performances. The band's performances at the renowned Shanghai Jazz club (Madison NJ), Rod's at the Madison Hotel (Morristown, NJ), Robin's Nest Rhythm & Blues (Linden, NJ) and Sona 13 (Morristown, NJ) continue to attract packed audiences. Blue Soul has also been invited to perform at numerous formal events and parties at The Fairmount Country Club (Chatham NJ), The Hamilton Farms Golf Club (Gladstone NJ) and The Morris County Golf Club (Morristown, NJ)
