What Should Take Added Attractions Place in Garwood?
In our new series, we ask for your vision for vacant properties.
What does North Avenue need?
In our new series, we ask what you'd put in the available spaces in Clark and Garwood. We start with the old Added Attractions space at 300 North Avenue, at the corner of Cedar Avenue.
For nearly 25 years, the property housed a wedding and event planning and retail store. Now vacant, rent costs $3,500/month.
The space is 2,800 square feet and the listing on the property boasts its "high visible location on corner of North Ave and Cedar Ave across the street from CVS, 7-11, Dunkin Donuts, and Saladworks." It is zoned G-B, or general business. (Read the zoning specs here.)
So tell us, Garwood. What would you put there? A trendy restaurant? A mom-and-pop book store? High-end retail? A boutique? A chain store? Office space? A bank? A grocer or deli? A daycare? A dance school?
Leave your vision for the space in our comments section.
