Westboro Baptist Church Plans to Protest Clark Military Funeral

Group plans to gather for Cpl. Kevin Reinhard's funeral Monday.

The Westboro Baptist Church is planning to protest Monday in an effort to spread its belief that God is killing the troops because America accepts homosexuality.

“Cpl Reinhard gave his life for the constitutional right of Westboro Baptist Church to warn America,” according to a statement from the church. “To deny us our first amendment right is to declare to the world that Cpl. Reinhard died in vain, and that America is a nation of sodomite hypocrites.”

The funeral will be held at St. Agnes Church on Madison Hill Road in Clark at 9 a.m.
