Now more than a month after the death of Clark's Vera Pecoraro, the Union County Prosecutor's Office and Clark Police Department report that the investigation into the homicide is ongoing and they have no more information to release as of yet.
Pecoraro, 73, was found with her throat slit on July 7 at her home on Rolling Hill Way in Clark. Police say there was no sign of forced entry into the home and they believe she knew her attacker.
